Barbara Jo Cook, 85 of Seymour, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 in Seymour.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Warren officiating.  Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Barbara was born August 11, 1939 in Baylor County to Riley and Viola Carlock Wooten.  She worked as a bookkeeper and a homemaker.  Barbara married L.T. Vincent, Jr. on January 15, 1955 in Seymour.  He died on November 24, 1984.  On March 8, 1986, she married Billy V. Cook in Seymour.  He died on December 5, 2005.  She was raised in the Trinity Lutheran Church and was a member of the First Baptist Church.  Barbara was a former member of the Seymour Hospital Auxiliary.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy Bryan; 3 brothers, Willie Wooten, Jim Wooten and Rickey Wooten; her step-son, Charlie Cook; son-in-law, Mark Morris; her grandson, Dillon Cole Morris and 2 sisters of her heart, Sammie Morris and Betty Hayden.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Darline Morris; daughter-in-law, Pattie Cook; a sister, Sharon Heim; 2 grandchildren, Keller and Daniel Valles and Cullen and Olivia Cook and 2 great grandchildren, Claire and Owen.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the Seymour Cemetery Association or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
