Barbara Jean (Mccord) Lambeth

Barbara Lambeth, 84 of Seymour, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 in Seymour.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Masonic Cemetery with Dr. David Warren officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Barbara was born on September 21, 1938 in Vernon to Fred and Alice Patterson McCord.  She was a graduate of Seymour High School.  Barbara worked as a telephone operator before attending nursing school.  She worked as an LVN at the Seymour Hospital and Seymour Clinic for many years.  She was also a member of Seymour Hospital Auxiliary.  Barbara was preceded in death by her two husbands, Paul Leroy Brock in 1961 and Doug Lambeth in 2016; her parents, Fred and Alice McCord; a brother, Fred McCord, Jr.; 2 sisters, Evelyn Gordon and Louise Parker and a great grandchild, Brooklyn Andrews.

She is survived by 2 sons, Barron and Tera Lambeth of New Albany, Indiana and Brant Lambeth of Frisco; a daughter, Jeanie and Mark Wilson of Springtown; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou McCord of Seymour; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
