Barbara Kay (Jennings) Marek

Barbara Marek, 71 of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Seymour.

Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bose Jujuvarapu and Deacon Jim Novak officiating.  Burial will be in Johnson Memorial Cemetery in Munday under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Barbara was born on August 10, 1950 in Munday to Coy and Little Bit Jennings.  She was a graduate of Munday High School and received her LVN certification through Vernon Regional Junior College.  She worked in the Munday Nursing Home and the Seymour Nursing Home.  Barbara married Dennis Marek on March 1, 1969 in Rhineland.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Marek of Seymour; a son, Brient and Felicia Marek of Seymour and 6 grandchildren, Avery, Payton and Kade Marek and Alanna, Marissa and Lorena Garcia.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
