Betty Miller Hill passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 in Abilene at the age of 79.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at the Three Crosses Cowboy Church in Hamby with Greg Clemmer officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. at the church. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Masonic Cemetery in Seymour under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Betty was born December 7, 1942 in Seymour to Walter and Gustie Montgomery Miller. She was a 1960 graduate of Seymour High School and attended Vernon Regional Junior College. She owned and operated the Dairy Mart in Knox City for 7 years, then as a bookkeeper for the Butcher Block in Abilene. She then moved to San Marcos and ran a R.V. campground for 7 years. Upon returning to Abilene, Betty went to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield, retiring in 2012.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Becky and Roger Freeman, Phyllis Bolton Miller, Melissa Bolton and Diann Hill all of Abilene; a son, Jimmy Bolton of Abilene; a brother, Eugene Miller of Frisco; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
