Charles Thomas Sessions, 75 of Seymour, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 in Seymour.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Warren officiating.  Burial will be in the Henson Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Charles was born September 7, 1945 in Norman, Oklahoma to Charles H. and Marjorie Kathryn DeGulio Sessions.  He was a graduate of Seymour High School.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  Charles married Lola Sandra Henshaw on September 4, 1965 in Seymour.  She passed away on June 9, 2016.  He owned and operated Sessions Texaco for many years, served as Mayor Pro-tem and was elected Mayor of Seymour.  He also served 3 consecutive terms as Baylor County Justice of the Peace.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer and Bud Vickers of Seymour; a son, Chris and Rebecca Sessions of Wichita Falls; 2 sisters, Barbara and Jimmy Vaden and Diane Sessions all of Wichita Falls; 5 grandchildren, Cassie and James Cook, Taryn Vickers, Garrett McPherson and fiancé Alexis Pearsons, Kahler Sessions and Kobe Sessions and 2 great grandchildren, Mason and Addison.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
