Charlie Priblya, 79, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 in Wichita Falls.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Albert Kanjirathumkal and Deacon Jim Novak, officiating. Burial will be in the Bomarton Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Charles Patrick Priblya was born June 2, 1935 in Bomarton to Frank and Celestina Orsak Priblya. He attended Bomarton Schools and graduated from Seymour High School. He attended Midwestern State University. Charlie worked in construction in Wichita and Seymour, he worked as a surveyor and at the Man's Store in Seymour. He did custom hay bailing and farmed in Baylor County all of his life. Charlie married Mona Mobley on September 2, 1962 in Goree. He was a past board member of the Farmer's National Bank in Seymour and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Celestina Priblya; 5 sisters, Sally mae Capuzello, Edith Francis Bartos; Elsie Josephine Heavin, Geneva Mary Fetsch and Helenae Josephineae Priblya; and 3 brothers, Eugene Frank Priblya, Henry John Priblya and Charles Priblya.

Survivors include his wife, Mona Priblya of Seymour; 2 sons, John Priblya and wife, Sara and Joe Priblya and wife, Tracie all of Seymour; 1 daughter, Monica Fields and husband, Justin of Wichita Falls; and 5 grandchildren.

Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
