Charlie James Reaves

Charlie Reaves, 30 of Wichita Falls, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Seymour with Rev. Steve Sullwold officiating.  Burial will be in the Round Timber Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Charlie was born on August 4, 1991 in Wichita Falls to Jimmy and Lisa Brock Reaves.  He was a 2010 graduate of Seymour High School and attended South Plains College.  Charlie married Madison Guthrie on September 30, 2017 in Wichita Falls.  He worked as a wind turbine technician for General Electric.  Charlie loved to hunt, play golf, buy guns, trade vehicles, cooking on the grill and playing with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Madison Reaves of Wichita Falls; his brother, Laramie and Jocelyn Reaves of Seymour; his step-father, Ron Gray of Canyon; grandmother, Linda Brock of Seymour; his 2 sons, Cohen Reaves and Noah Reaves; 5 nephews and 1 niece, Clayton Guthrie, Jaxon Guthrie, Benton Guthrie, Drew Guthrie, Graham Reaves and Laynie Reaves.

Memorials may be made to the Round Timber Cemetery Association.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
