Colleen Patterson

Colleen Patterson, 85, of Wichita Falls, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., at the Vera Community Center with Roy Boswell officiating. Burial will be in the Vera Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Colleen was born November 15, 1932 in Gilliland to John and Thelma Hollis Jamison. She was a graduate of Munday High School and Draughon's Business College. She worked as a bookkeeper, retiring from Burk Royalty Oil and Gas Company in 1998, after 31 years. She was a member of the Criterion Club, where she served as treasurer, the DOES Club and she played piano with the Mad Medics. She was a member of the Gilliland Baptist Church. Colleen married Alton Lee Patterson on November 4, 1952 in Knox City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Lee on January 22, 1993; her parents, John and Thelma Jamison; 3 sons, Ricky Patterson, Ronald Patterson and Mike Patterson; a grandson, Jonathan Moorman; and 2 brothers, Howard Jamison and Hollis Jamison.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Debra Pardue and Lisa Moorman and husband, Steve all of Wichita Falls; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Broken Chains Freedom Church, 5200 Old Jacksboro Hwy., Wichita Falls, Texas 76302.
