C.R. Noles

C.R. Noles, Jr., 89, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 in Throckmorton.

Services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Throckmorton with Pastor Pete Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

C.R. was born July 20, 1927 in Throckmorton to C.R., Sr. and Vane Hibbits Noles. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy and was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a tool pusher and drilling superintendant in the oil field and farmed. He married Bobbie Sanders on March 9, 1980 in Vernon. He was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Noles in 1976 and a daughter, Lanelda Charlice Noles in January of 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Noles of Vernon; 2 sons, Johnny Noles of Throckmorton and Chuck Noles of Graham; a daughter, Camey Williamson of Graham; a sister, Pitsy Browles of Throckmorton; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
