Donnie Mack Brown

Donnie Mack Brown, 61 of Killeen passed away peacefully, in his home, surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, November 27, 2023 at his home in Killeen.

Memorial graveside services to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. David Warren officiating in the Masonic Cemetery in Seymour.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Mack was born on May 8, 1962 in Knox City to Floyd Brown and Freida Wiles Brown.  He graduated from Seymour High School.  Mack was a self-employed paint contractor and later worked for Home Depot.  Mack enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandson, Gage.  He never missed an episode of Judge Judy.  Mack was very creative and artistic in everything he did.  He was a kind and generous soul who will be missed by many.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Freida Brown.

He is survived by his daughter, Erin Brown of Killeen; grandson, Gage Carter; his father, Floyd and Treva Brown of Seymour; his brother, Bill and Charlotte Brown of Seymour; niece, Bethany and Zach Burgess of Seymour; nephew, Andrew and Marley Brown of Seymour; 4 great nephews, Weston, Arch, Brooks and Brock and a great niece, Ella.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:30 until 6:30 at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the Seymour School Foundation or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
