Duane Craig Bryant, 60 of Seymour, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 in Seymour.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Warren officiating. A committal service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. with Lt. Col. Nicholson officiating at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Duane was born January 11, 1959 in Tacoma, Washington to William and Beverly Craig Bryant. He was a retired staff sergeant of the U.S. Army. After retirement he completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Technology from New England Tech. He married Heather Newman on March 10, 2012 in Warwick, Rhode Island. The couple moved to Seymour in 2012. Duane was preceded in death by his parents, William and Beverly Bryant; and 3 brothers, Harvey Bryant, Rick LaClair and Monte Bryant.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Bryant of Seymour; 5 daughters, Svenja Abel of Wichita Falls, Sabrina Bryant and Michael, Natasha Bryant and Toni Hamaker all of Seymour and Alyssa Bryant of Mansfield, Massachusetts; 4 sons, Duane and Erica Bryant, Jr. of San Antonio, Ian Bryant of Seymour, Evan Bryant of Mansfield, Massachusetts and Brayden Bryant of Seymour; 3 brothers, David Bryant, Therron Hamaker and Sean Hamaker; 3 sisters, Lynda Ramirez, Melissa Pollard and Mona Lisa Aguiar; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and the mother to 5 of his children, Barbel Bryant.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
