Felipe Garcia Zuniga, 70, of Seymour, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 in Seymour.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Albert Kanjirathumkal, officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Felipe was born February 5, 1945 in Mexico. He came to Texas in 1972 and worked as a farm and ranch laborer with the Carter-Taylor Ranch for over 18 years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Felipe was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carmen Camarena; a brother, Ismael Zuniga and a granddaughter, Ashley Randall.

He is survived his wife, Mary Torrez of Seymour; 2 daughters, Socorro Chandler of Seymour and Mary McCauley of Georgia; 2 sons, Hector Garcia of Oklahoma City and Arturo Garcia of Liberal, Kansas; a brother, Lorenzo Garcia of Alamagordo, NM; 2 sisters, Teresa Torrez of Liberal, Kansas and Lube Jimenez of Garden City, Kansas; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
