Garry E. Hardin, 75, of Seymour passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Seymour.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at First Christian Church in Seymour with burial following at Henson Cemetery in Red Springs with Benny Archer officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Garry was born April 28, 1942 in Seymour, Texas to Grady and Mozelle Hardin. He was a 1960 graduate of Vera High School and received a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts Education from Abilene Christian University in 1966. Garry married Lou Jane Martin in Seymour in August of 1975. He worked as a draftsman and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Garry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mickey Hardin.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lou Jane Hardin of Seymour; a daughter Kim Domaschk and husband Gordon of Irving; a step-son, Rusty Park and wife Sarah of Wichita Falls; a sister Beverly Carlock and husband Billy Joe of Seymour; sister-in-law Brenda Hardin of Seymour; four grandchildren, Laura Domaschk McIntosh, Amanda Domaschk, Elizabeth Park and Charles ‘Cappie' Park; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
The family would like to recognize and thank Dr. William Dittman and the Dallas Presbyterian Interventional Radiology staff, Dr. Keith Kadesky, the incredible staff of Seymour Hospital Home Health, the Seymour hospital staff and Hospice of Wichita Falls.
Visitation will be Monday, December 11, 2017 5pm - 6pm at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Henson Cemetery Association.
