Glen Moss, 71 of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 in Seymour.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Warren officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Glen was born on August 3, 1952 in Matador to Bill and June Pope Moss.  He was a graduate of Matador High School and attended Texas Tech University.  Glen married Myra Lewis on February 18, 1994 in Wichita Falls.  He farmed and ranched for a number of years, was an insurance adjuster and was owner of Glen and Myra’s R.V. Park and Lodge.  Glen loved horses, horse races, and riding and training cutting horses.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.  Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and June Moss and a grandson, Anthony Moss.

He is survived by his wife, Myra Moss of Seymour; his children Marsha and Dennis Shoemaker of Bellevue, Lee and Linda Moss of Henrietta, Kellie and Jonathan Sullivan of Norman, OK and Tina Fontenot of Hinton, OK; a brother, Joe and Terry Moss of Janesville, Wisconsin; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church.
