John D Simmons

John David Simmons, 83 of Seymour, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 in Seymour.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

David was born October 17, 1936 in Ballinger to Claude and Myrll Crockett Simmons. He was a graduate of Ballinger High School. He worked as a drill pipe salesman for LTV Steel company. David married Doris Griggs on March 21, 1987. He was a member of the Harvest Christian Fellowship.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Simmons of Seymour; 3 step-children, Frank Lugenheim, Janette Smith and John Lugenheim; 6 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great graddaughters.
