Louise King

Louise King, 85, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in Seymour.

Services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with Benny Archer officiating. Burial will be in Woodmen of the World Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Louise was born October 8, 1931 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Oscar and Christine Dunlap Johnston. She married Willie Thomas King October 19, 1946 in Wichita Falls. He preceded her in death. Louise was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Seymour. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Christine Johnston; a son, Ronnie Joe King; a brother, William Johnston and a sister, Ima Jo Guinn.

Louise was lovingly cared for by Stormie and crew at Seymour Home Health, Keisha with IntegraCare Hospice, Terri Farris, Brittney Hoyt, Jennifer Farris, Christina Schackleford and Courtney Atwood.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia Cribbs and husband, Gary of Graham and Karen Steward and husband, Lonnie of Weatherford; a son, Tim King and wife, Gayle of Seymour; 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to Seymour Home Health or IntegraCare Hospice.
