Margarett Lucille Reid, 75, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Seymour.

Graveside services will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., in the City of Lubbock Cemetery with Kenneth Moline, officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Margarett was born June 24, 1939 in Paducah to Robert and Mary Reynold McCafferty. She attended Sanders School in Lubbock. She married Gerald Reid on February 17, 1958 in Crosbyton. Margarett worked as a homemaker and on electronics assembly. She was preceded in death by a son, William C. Reid on April 7, 2014.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Reid of Seymour; 3 sons, Arthur Reid and Ronald Reid, both of Lubbock and Stacy Reid of Navasota; a brother, Marion Kenneth McCafferty of Lubbock; and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
