Maribelle Lafrance

Maribelle LaFrance, 103, of Wichita Falls, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., in the Vera Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Maribelle was born November 8, 1914 in Vera to D.H. and Kate Cahill Blackburn. She attended school in Cottonwood and Red Springs. She married Earnest LaFrance in 1929 in Frederick, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death. Maribelle worked as a hairdresser in Seymour and was a member of the Red Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Earnest D. LaFrance and wife, Barbara of Wichita Falls; 2 grandsons, Gary D. LaFrance of Ft. Worth and Steven LaFrance of Canton; 2 great grandsons, Justin LaFrance and Michael LaFrance and 2 great great granddaughters.
