Marjorie Townsend

Marjorie Townsend, 84, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Seymour.

Memorial graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Marjorie was born March 25, 1933 in Seymour to Percy and Emmie Biggerstaff Jones. She attended Seymour Schools. She was a homemaker and a member of the Northeast Baptist Church. Marjorie married Chuck Townsend in 1971 in Wichita Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Townsend and her son, Ricky Busby.

She is survived by 3 sons, Rodney Busby of Wichita Falls, Keith Davis of Abilene and Mark Davis of Seymour; 4 daughters, Darrough Davis, Karen Davis and Debra Valdez all of Abilene; a brother, Ralph Jones; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
