Nancy Markham

Nancy Markham, 74, of Seymour, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at her residence in Seymour, Texas.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Nancy was born December 20, 1939 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Francis and Barbara Bee Bicknell. She was a 1957 graduate of the Bancroft School in Massachusetts. She earned her associates degree in 1959; received a Bachelors degree from Texas A&M University in August of 1989 and attended graduate school at the University of Houston and the University of Northern Las Vegas. She was a military wife, married to Gordon Euguene Markham for over 30 years. Nancy moved to Seymour in December of 1996, where she was very active in the community. She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Bicknell Markham in 1993 and a dear cousin, Bill P. Sweetser.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Heather Markham of Louisville, Kentucky; a grandson, Christopher Bruce Markham of Phoenix, Arizona; and 2 brothers, Robert Bee Bicknell of East Orleans, Massachusetts and Harrison Scott Bicknell of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
