Ralph C. Sullivan

Ralph Sullivan, 79 of Seymour, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 in Seymour.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverview Cemetery with Royce Miller officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Ralph was born August 24, 1944 in Seymour to Lewis and Gladys Cauthen Sullivan.  He attended Seymour Schools.  Ralph married Jan Dixon in 1965 in Seymour.  She preceded him in death in 2008.  He was a welder for many years, also working as a jailer in Baylor County and for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.  Ralph also worked for a time as a boat mechanic at Seymour Marine.  In 2010, he met his partner in crime, Ina Laney and the 2 have been together ever since.

Ralph is survived by his longtime partner, Ina Laney of Seymour; 2 sons, Tommy and Stephanie Sullivan of Albany and Rocky Sullivan of Moore, Oklahoma; a daughter, Judy and Randy Elliott of Wichita Falls; a brother, Otis and Sue Sullivan of Maine; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way.

A visitation will be held prior to the graveside on Monday from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
