Ramon Quintero

Ramon Quintero, 79 of Seymour, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 in Wichita Falls.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Albert Kanjirathumkal officiating. Burial will be in the Gilliland Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Ramon was born December 9, 1938 in Gilliland to Vicinte and Haili Alvarez Quintero. He lived in the Knox County region, working in cotton gins in Truscott, Gilliland and Rhineland and was the manager of the Red Springs Co-op Gin. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Seymour. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Quintero of Quanah; a daughter, Ramona Quintero of Munday; a son, Michael Quintero of Seymour; and 4 grandchildren, David Quintero, Joseph Quintero, T.J. Nardone, Jr. and Simon Quintero.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
