Rhonda Mae Elliott, 74 of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 in Seymour.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Jay Gage officiating. Burial will follow in Cache Creek Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Rhonda was born May 20, 1949 in Pampa to Victor and Georgie Jones. She attended school in Borger, Stinnett and Dumas. She graduated from cosmetology school in Wichita Falls and worked as a hairdresser at the Glamour House in Seymour. She married Bob Elliott on February 16, 1968 in Seymour. Rhonda worked as a hairdresser in several of the towns her husband Bob worked. She eventually stayed home raising and loving on her children. Rhonda enjoyed keeping her grandchildren and was passionate about decorating for Halloween and Christmas. Rhonda loved music and was very quick witted. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Seymour. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Georgie Jones; 3 sisters, Christine Malaska, Barbara Bingham and Shirley Jones and a brother, Vic Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Elliott of Seymour; 3 sons, Monte and Karen Elliott of Paducah, Guy Elliott of Vernon and Casey and Susan Elliott of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Shelly and Jody Duggan of Spur; a brother, Andy Jones of Sherman; 2 sisters, Betty Sue Petty of Fairfield and Peggy Turner of Seymour; 6 grandchildren, Melyssa and Trent McDonald, Jadyn Duggan, Riley Elliott, Carson Elliott, Kaitlyn Deaton and Kristyn Deaton; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church.
