Robert Eugene Elliott, 69 of Seymour, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025.
Bob was born on May 2, 1955 in El Paso, Texas to William Reed and Nellie Irene (Conner) Elliott. He worked as an ironworker and over the road truck driver for many years, but his true passion was hunting and fishing which led to his final career as a hunting guide. Bob was an avid photographer as well. He spent his time doing what he loved; being with family and friends, teaching and sharing his love for all things fishing and hunting and cheering on his grandkids every chance he had. Bob never met a stranger and was a friend to all.
He is survived by his two children, Billy Elliott and wife Amanda of Wichita Falls and K’Lea (Elliott) McDonald and husband Ryan of Brock; five grandchildren, whom were his pride and joy, Lainey, Bryer, Karder, Brayson and Libby; two brothers, Kenneth Elliott and wife Cheryl of Seguin and Timothy Elliott and wife Marlys of Wichita Falls: two sisters, Rita McAlvain and husband Edward of Wichita Falls and Brenda Elliott of Denton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William in 1969 and Nell in 2022.
In lieu of a traditional funeral, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Further details will be announced when available.
