Ronnie Karr, 72 of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Ft. Worth.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverview Cemetery with Benny Archer officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Ronnie was born February 18, 1948 in Seymour to W.J. and Jenny Tucker Karr.  He was a graduate of Seymour High School and attended East Texas State and Tarleton State University.  He married Mary Ann Rodgers on April 21, 1973 in Dallas.  Ronnie worked as an administrator at the State Hospital in Vernon and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seymour.  Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman, whose love of hunting and fishing was passed on to his children and grandchildren.  He loved to help people.  Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, W.J. and Jenny Karr; a brother, Gerald Karr and a beloved granddaughter, Kaylynn Karr.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Karr of Roanoke; a daughter, Shelli Orr and husband, James of Westlake; a son, Kollin Karr of Abilene; 2 brothers, James Karr of Whitney and Curtis Karr of Caddo Mills and 6 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
