Susan Carol (Cooper) Flippin

Susan Carol Flippin, 71 of Seymour passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. David Warren officiating, in the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Susan was born September 4, 1950 in Seymour to James and Bobbie Higgins Cooper.  She was a graduate of Seymour High School and attended Texas Tech University.  In June of 1972, she married William Robert Laird in Houston, he passed away in 1974.  She then married Dennis Flippin in May of 1987.  He preceded her in death on October 30, 2012.  Susan worked at Cooper Motor Company as a secretary and later in life, she worked for the Salt Fork River Estates.  She was preceded in death by her father, James Cooper; a sister, Peggy Malone; a brother Jim Cooper and a nephew, Curt Redden.

She is survived by her mother, Bobbie Cooper of Seymour; a niece, Jamie Cooper Hernandez of Seymour; a nephew, Cody Redden; 3 step- children, Lisa Britten, Michele Belcher and Richard Flippin; 6 step-grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
