Ted Horne

Ted Horne, 75, of Yantis, Texas, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at the Gilliland Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Brockett officiating. Burial will be in the Gilliland Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Ted was born September 23, 1940 in Knox City to Paul and Erna Lee Welch Horne. He was a graduate of Munday High School and received and Associates Degree from Texas Vocational IBM School. He worked in sales and was the District Manager for Peerless Pump Company in Plainview. Ted married Josephine Hoffman on January 5, 1991 in Tampa, Florida. He was a member of the Yantis Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Horne of Yantis; a daughter, Melissa Krebs and husband, Darrell of Wichita Falls; 2 step-children, Michael Hammons and wife, Marcy of Woodstock, GA and Leanne Hammons of North Vernon, Ind.; a grandson, DJ Moss of Wichita Falls; his mother, Erna Lee Horne of Seymour and a sister, Paula Smith and husband, Kenneth of Austin.
