Wendel Eugene Parham

Wendel Eugene Parham, 87, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, December 03, 2014 in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Warren, officiating. Burial will be in the Henson Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Wendel was born March 29, 1927 in Vera to Crow and Lois Lohman Parham. He attended school in the Cottonwood Community and Vera. Wendel was a WWII Army veteran, serving in Germany. He married Maxine Settlemire on July 9, 1947 in Artesia, NM. She preceded him in death on April 9, 2005. He was a farmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann Parham of Roanoke, VA; 3 grandchildren, Heath, Melvin and Tana; 3 great grandchildren, Emily, Rachel and Anastasia; 1 brother, Sam Parham of Lamesa; and 2 sisters, Louise Morgan of Odessa and Connie McDunnan of Midland.
