Wesley Dean Penner, 80 of Levelland passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Levelland.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Vera Cemetery with Rev. Gil Ramirez officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.
Wesley was born March 3, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas to Leroy and Margaret Ediger Penner. He was a graduate of Amarillo High School. Wesley married Wanda Chandler on September 24, 1961 in Amarillo. He worked in maintenance for the Seymour Housing Authority and along with his wife, owned and operated the Cattleman’s Restaurant in Seymour. The couple lived in Seymour for 22 years before moving to Levelland. He was precede in death by his wife, Wanda Penner on November 23, 2017; and 2 sons, Roy Dean Penner on May 23, 1962 and Richard Dean Penner on May 28, 1990.
He is survived by his son, Doug Penner and wife, Shirley of Levelland; 3 grandchildren, Blake, Donald and Casey and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
