Bill was born August 16, 1935 in Seymour, the youngest of five children born to Gene and Sallie Mae Culver. He was a graduate of Seymour High School and attended college at the University of Texas and Texas Christian University. Bill married Carol Cockrell on August 27, 1966 in Seymour. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Sallie Mae Culver; and his four siblings, Joe, Gene, Jr., Ralph and a stillborn brother.
Bill was in the insurance and real estate business for 65 years. In 1997, he was awarded the honor of being one of the 10 oldest insurance agencies in Texas. Bill loved his work and he loved helping his people.

He was a member of the Seymour School Board and worked on the building of the high school from 1986-1988. He had previously been Chairman of the re-building of the Seymour Golf and Country Club.
More than anything, Bill loved his family. His children, Alex and Libits were his focus in everything he did. From all their vacations, years at Lake Kemp and grilling steaks in the backyard, family was his life. In the past few months, Bill has been surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Culver of Seymour; a son, Alex and Lori Culver of Haslet; a daughter, Libits Davis of Forney; 3 grandchildren, Will Davis, Brayden Culver and Ryan Culver and several nieces and nephews.
