William Rodney Picklesimer

Rodney Picklesimer, 60 of Iowa Park, passed away Saturday in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 2:15 p.m. at Archer Funeral Home with Richard Lightner officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Rodney was born February 4, 1961 in Ashland, Kentucky to John and Doretha Sizemore Picklesimer.  He was a 1979 graduate of Seymour High.  Rodney worked as a truck driver for Jackson Oil Field Services in Seymour for many years, then went to work for the City of Seymour.

He is survived by a son, John and Savannah Picklesimer of Iowa Park; a daughter, Amy and Dylan May of Henderson; his parents, John M. Picklesimer of Seymour and Doretha Picklesimer of Knox City; a sister, Donna Stuckey of Seymour and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
